Great location! Walkable to the park and the starland district. Kroger is super close. The yard was perfect for hanging out between activities. Would recommend for anyone looking to explore Savannah.

We were driving up 95 late at night with a big dog we adopted from my folks during the holidays and I could not find a hotel room available anywhere in Savannah. I then found the carriage house, booked it just a couple hours before we arrived, and Gabe was responsive and friendly for each interaction. Sadly we did not stay long as this was more of a pit stop, but parking was easy, the neighborhood was nice and safe to walk with the dog even very late at night, and we appreciated thoughtful touches - several extra heaters (didn’t need them) and especially the snacks! Nice, quiet, private, and out of the way. Definitely recommend.

Gabe’s place was exactly as it was listed - easy to find, in a great walkable location with lots to do in the area and on one level. We felt very safe in the neighborhood. The property is fully secured behind a wall which was great for our dog who is an escape artist. As a host, Gabe was very responsive to all our needs. If we are in Savannah again we will definitely stay here.

We booked as we were driving to Savannah. The (amazingly attentive) host had planned to paint later that day but instead welcomed us. As mentioned in other reviews, the refrigerator is old, but cold. The host was always available and helpful. The outdoor area is quiet and there is a market and pizza right across the street. The free bus is also very convenient. It's not fancy, but it was just what we wanted for our short trip. Also, there's a cool dinosaur in the bamboo!
